Juan Correa took a second straight Italian Formula 4 victory in the first race of the Mugello weekend.

The Prema driver led team-mate Mick Schumacher?from pole position, leading the German across the line by 1.7 seconds.

With the Prema pair in formation, the action was to be found in the fight for third.

Having lost out to?Schumacher off the start line, Raul Guzman held third at first, and retained it after an attack from?Marcos Siebert?led to the Argentine wiping off his front wing on the run to Turn 1. He went down the inside of Guzman but couldn’t slow down, and then pitted at the end of the lap.

Ex-Prema driver Giuliano Raucci instead came through to claim his first podium with a great move on Guzman in the middle of the lap.

Joao Vieira?took fifth ahead of?Diego Bertonelli,?Simone Cunati, Devlin DeFrancesco, Juri Vips and?Job van Uitert.
