Australian F4 championship leader Jordan Lloyd rebounded from a poor race two result to win the final running of the Eastern Creek weekend.

Racing under wet circumstances, pole-sitter Thomas Randle held the lead off the line ahead of Lloyd.

Randle was never able to shake Lloyd though, and a mistake on lap eight allowed his rival to dethrone him.

Lloyd cruised to win afterwards to finish five seconds in the clear, while Randle took second just ahead of Will Brown.

Nick Rowe passed Zane Goddard to secure fourth as the top six was completed by Jordan Love.

The top ten was rounded out by Jimmy Vernon, Harry Hayek, Tom Grech and Luis Leeds.

Despite him collecting two more victories over the weekend, Lloyd’s lead in the championship shrunk by five points to 35, thanks to the trio of second-place finishes by main rival Randle.
