Petru Florescu firmed up his British Formula 4 points lead with victory in the final race of the weekend at Oulton Park.

The Romanian produced a commanding drive from pole position, finishing 2.5 seconds ahead of Carlin team-mate and race one winner Devlin DeFrancesco.

Jamie Caroline got past Max Fewtrell at the start for third, as the Jamun driver interrupted the dominance of the Carlin quartet.

Finishing the race fourth ahead of James Pull, Fewtrell ends the weekend second in the standings, 22 points behind Florescu and five in front of Pull.

Alex Quinn lost sixth place to a gearbox issue on the penultimate lap, promoting the race two winner Rafa Martins to sixth and his own Fortec team-mate Nicolai Kjaergaard to seventh and a maiden rookie class win.

The Dane kept the struggling Sennan Fielding at bay, while Ayrton Simmons and Zane Goddard rounded out the top 10.
